PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The use of advanced solid-state CCD cameras in industrial plants are, in a number of cases,
unsuccessful because of the high ambient temperatures pre-vailing onsite. Although it is
possible to use a water-cooled protective housing for the camera, the installation work
necessary for the piping and the control unit is very extensive and costly.
For such applications, Moog has developed the WU-2152-EP industrial protective housing
for cameras which is suitable for use at temperatures of up to 70°C (158°F). In view of
the technique applied involving Peltier elements and fan, the internal temperatures in the
housing will not rise beyond a dened value, so that the CCTV camera installed therein will
not be damaged.
